It is amazing what you can see when you take the time to slow down for a little bit and put your time in God's hands. For one I can't believe I have let a few days pass before blogging about this. Last week I was having a really hard week personally. Just me not being right to myself. Judging myself and not happy where things were. Because in my mind it did not line up with my plan in life, needing to take a step back and reexamine God's plan for my life.
I am now finishing up week 2 in a new Bible Study called Experiencing God. Not motivated to do my reading for it on Thursday I decided I needed to make a "date" with God. I put it in my calendar and set aside 2 hours to just be with God on Saturday. I went to the local park found a secluded area to be alone. Just me, my study, my Bible and God.
I spend time in prayer and tried just being then started doing my study. With about 40 minutes left in my time I set aside (I knew I needed to stay at least 2 hours more if I felt like it) and still feeling frustrated I laid down and just looked up and around at the trees and listening to the sounds just talking to God. I looked in the sky (which was completely sunny & only white puffy clouds) there was a rainbow, I took my sunglasses off to get a better look and it was gone. I was in such disbelief. Put my sunglasses back on and it was there again with what looked like a little rainbow coming off the one side of it. I lost it tears streaming and knew this was from God. A sign of hope that I am going in the right direction. Hope that as long as I follow Him I am on the right path.
After this I had a very refreshed feeling and a "bounce" in my step. I really wanted to share with anyone that would understand. It is amazing what taking the time and just being still does for the soul. I can honestly say that Saturday I Experienced God.
God is so good ALL the time. And can't wait to see what else this study will teach me.

Sometimes its the small things...
Its been a rough couple weeks personally. So sometimes it is just a matter of the little things in life to make me realize that God is so much bigger than me. He is good ALWAYS.
Yesterday we had storms through the night and in the morning. On my way to work I saw a break in the clouds for only a minute or so. Bright orange round sun. Clouds aligned just right looking like a cross next to the sun. Breath taking. I tried to take a picture but couldn't capture it. What an amazing reminder of what God has done for us. I so wish I could have gotten a picture of it.
This week the weather has been warm on top of the mild winter. 70's all this past week. It was nice today to get out and walk to the park down the street and take in the fresh air and sun. Need to keep up with doing it. Looking forward to seeing the plants and flowers coming up as spring comes along.

Time just gets away...
Well, I am not doing so well at this blogging thing. I don't have an excuse other than being lazy with it. Life has had its ups and downs. Definitely more ups than downs. Thanksgiving and Christmas flew by. It was wonderful to spend both Thanksgiving and Christmas with both my family & also with Steve's family including his boys. Hard to believe Christmas was a month and a half ago already.
Been kind of a roller coaster with the new job I started in October. Trying to find my place there. Sometimes I realized it is hard to do especially in a small company with people that have all worked together for a while.
I also was able to spend Monday evening with two of my favorite little girls my friend's daughters. Love that to Abby & Haley I am know as "Buggy". Always brings a smile to my face especially when I am told they corrected someone that my name is not Bekky it is Buggy. :)
Yesterday Steve brought over Chipotle for dinner for Valentines Day. It was a nice much needed evening just to relax the two of us.
Birthdays seem to be coming out of the woodwork with in the next month. Started off with Steve's son turning 7. Next week my brothers & nephew's (turning 7 too). Three of my best friends birthday coming up as well along with mine. Lots of celebrating going on.
Sometimes life's little blessings come in the way of relaxing evenings. Other days in the busy times. And even more in the quiet time with God and how He inspires...

Baby blessings...
Today not only is it a beautiful sunny day out not too bad for a November day. So happy for one of my best friends and the birth of her baby boy Davey. So excited to meet him. What a blessing to her and her husband.
Looking forward to it being the weekend. Hopefully get a hike in for our hiking spree and get some relax time in. And just maybe get to meet baby Davey.
Thank you Lord for all the blessings in life...some days it seems like there are too many to count. Other days we just hold onto one or two or have to search for one.

Fall Bleessings...
Wow...can't believe it has been since June since I have written. I guess November is a good month to restart with my blessings.
To start off I feel very blessed with my new job. I have been there tomorrow 2 full weeks and still enjoy it. There are "stressful" times but nothing like where I was before. It is so much closer to home as well and am cutting my Walgreens hours to a couple times a month on Saturdays. Very much looking forward to that.
As for other blessings and things to be thankful for. This summer has flown by. It has been a lot of fun with Steve and his boys. We started the Summit County Fall Hiking Spree, hopefully we can finish it we have 4 hikes to go and it is supposed to be done by the end of the month. Eeekkk...
We also went to a pumpkin carving party.
The end of September we celebrated my parents 40th anniversary. What a special thing to celebrate. They have taught me so much. And am honestly bless to have my parents around and still together.
So many things to be thankful for, now that I am not working as much I hope I can keep up.

Enjoying the weekend...
This past weekend was great! It was Father's Day weekend. Steve had his boys for the weekend. Saturday night we went to the Indians Game. It was kids night we all enjoyed it.
Here are some pictures from the night...
We got to walk the field in a parade. Pretty cool to be on the field pregame.
There was also a beautiful sunset during the game that we got to enjoy!
Sunday was a really nice day as well. The whole family came over and cooked out for Father's Day. Along with Steve and his boys. Good food and good company what more can any one ask for...
Until next time...not sure when I will get back on here. For now enjoying what life is bringing to me on a daily basis...

Wow...its been a while...
It has been over a month since I have been on here. Finally I am feeling somewhat more like me. A month off Walgreens went by fast. I have been back working both jobs for 2 weeks now. As for the blessing side of that, I am blessed to have an income when a lot of people don't. Relay For Life is less than 3 weeks away. I love participating in Relay but honestly getting burned out being captain. Our team doesn't seem like it has been in the past. It has been a lot of work. Almost like working 3 jobs. But to think of the positive things I am doing and working to make a difference puts it all into perspective. Just hope this rain stops in time so we are not soaked being outside for Relay.
As for other blessings...
Steve has been wonderful. He has really helped me do things that need to get done while I needed to get my rest to get better from mono. He is a wonderful boyfriend feel truly blessed to have him in my life. I might be in the loony bin by now if it weren't for him. He definitely makes me feel special. In the last month he got me flowers for our 2 month, he has cut my grass, he has even put up my new pot rack in my kitchen for me. :) He's the best!
I love my new pot rack I think it make my kitchen look homier if that's a word.
Kleo loves the flowers that Steve got me. I do have to say so do I.
I managed to do some photo editing with them as well. I love how this one below came out...
I am hoping to keep up with the blogging again. Maybe not everyday. But hopefully not going a month or so in between...
