Modern Technology...

It is a blessing how cell phones can keep us connected through out the day when we can't actually talk. Be it making sure friends are ok, getting to know people, seeing pictures, or hearing good news. It is silly how we tend to rely on little things like that and how our lives have drastically changed.

Small Group...

I love my small group. I belong to such a great group of people. Great time to fellowship and learn about God together and learn to rely on each other as well.
We are starting a new study that I am excited to dive into. It is about Heaven and what it may be like. The book is called Heaven by Randy Alcorn.

Fundraising...

Was so wiped out when I got home last night I couldn't even think of posting. Had the big "Shopping Frenzy" for Relay For Life. What a great time and so many people came out to support such a great cause. It was great to see the hard work pay off. Thank you to the great ladies for coming with your products and selling for a great cause. There was The Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Premiere Design Jewelry, Miche Bag, Usborne Books, Gold Guys, Thirty-one & Scentsy Candles.

Another day of rest...

So today I am blessed to have another day of rest. This one not so much planned. Ended up getting a lot of snow and this mornings commute was looking bad so I took it off. :) Hopefully these days will help me with getting over this mono thing. Could not have planned this better :) The picture does not do it justice. But the snow looks so cool on my neighbors trees.

2 Jobs...

Yesterday even though it wore me out I would have to say I am blessed for having 2 jobs. So many people don't even have 1. With out both right now I would not be able to do some of the fun things I can do.

Slacking...

So I have slacked the last few days on posting. As for daily blessings I would have to say for Wednesday it would be my day off and being able to rest. And get a few things done. Got my drivers license renewed and tags for my car. Restful yet productive.

Women's Bible Study...

This post was supposed to be yesterday's. So excited about starting a new Bible Study with a bunch of wonderful ladies. I have heard from so many that Beth Moore studies are wonderful. Looking forward to learning a lot...

Relaxation...

Tonight has been all about relaxation. I thought I was supposed to work tonight. I go in to find out that I read the schedule wrong and get to be at home tonight. I have been doing some much needed rest on the couch. Kleo has been chilling with me too. :) Love that I get the extra warmth when my cats lay by me...

Celebrating birthdays!

What a day with the family. Friday was my brother Tim's birthday and today is my nephew Michael's birthday! 35 and 6 years old. Fun family time. Happy Birthday Tim & Michael!

Parents..

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday. So this goes for yesterday. I am blessed with a great Mom. She has helped beyond belief with the Relay For Life fundraiser next weekend. We went shopping today to get some things for it. I keep over thinking what we need to have there and she is bringing me back to reality of what we really need to have. Otherwise I would probably be spending a fortune. Also, thanks to Dad for the support too. :) I would rather put my money towards buying things at the fundraiser not for the fundraiser. It is going to be a blast!!!! (I hope)

Dinner date...

It was good tonight to go out and have dinner with my cousin Meg & my Aunt Nancy. Had some good food and good conversation over the tasty food at Red Lobster. We need to do this more often. Love you guys...

Modern Medicine...

No picture today. Not really sure how to put modern medicine in besides prescription bottles. But that is not exactly it. Happy how much we can learn through modern medicine & testing. Like why I have been so extremely tired for at least the past month...too bad there are not meds to make mono go away. Have no idea how this came about. Hydration & rest are going to be my key to feeling better. Glad to have answers though...

The bright thing in the sky...

Oh how I have missed the sun. What a great feeling to have the sun shining today. It has a tendency to renew the spirit. How could you not smile with the sun shining and the snow melting. Makes it feel like the newness of spring may be right around the corner. Let the sun shine in...

Friends...

What would I do without my friends. I feel truly blessed by the friends I have in my life.
Thank you Nikki for keeping me thinking on the right path and keeping the faith and encouragement for me today. God knows what He is doing with the friends He places in our lives. Love my friends!!!!

The way of music...

I could not get through a day at work with out my ipod. I love that I have the right music to get me through different things. I have it on shuffle, somehow the perfect songs tend to come on at the most perfect times. Music can be a revival of the soul and mood. Today it is the little things...

A picture is worth many thoughts...

I am starting this blog as a challenge to myself. I am looking to post at least a picture a day for the next 365 days. Most likely the pictures won't be edited. There are blessings every day some big and some small. Lets see where the next 365 days take me.
I am starting off with this picture of the sunset tonight. At this point in winter I am so ready for the beauty of spring. The snow has added up lately and enjoying the break from the snow fall. What a beautiful sunset to realize every day's beauty. The colors make me anxious for spring to be here.
